Podium Presentations

All Podium Presentations should be 10 min long leaving 2-3 min for questions following.

Poster Presentations

Poster spaces are 48” wide by 36” tall.

The OAS Annual Meeting is a scientific meeting; therefore, we expect students to present as they would at a professional meeting. This is done by using a scientific poster. It can be printed on a large sheet of paper ((A, below) from places such as FedEx-Kinkos), or an easier, cheaper option, is to use 8.5" x 11" sheets of paper (B, below). Please bring push pins to attach your poster to the poster board.

Please click here to see examples of scientific posters.

Pre-college students - What is the difference between a tri-fold posterboard and scientific poster?

If you are a high school or middle school presenter: please note that you cannot use your science fair display board. You must create a poster as described on the website.
